We award the Open Bagde mark for course completion
Open Badge

The Open Badge is a digital badge of competence that can be used to identify and recognize knowledge, learning, skills, participation, and even attitudes. It is based on a standard developed by the Mozilla Foundation. The badge is effectively a digital identifier with associated metadata. The metadata includes the name of the badge, the name of the issuer, the criteria of the competencies, and the evidence required to describe the competencies. The badge can be linked to your CV or shared for job search, training, or lifelong learning on various social media networks and sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, or Twitter.

Why Open Badge?

Training and courses often come with a traditional certificate or diploma. However, the Open Badge can be used to identify and recognize not only this formal learning but also a variety of non-formal learning that takes place through work, hobbies, volunteering, or other activities. It therefore provides a visible and validated demonstration of learning, as the metadata not only provides the label issuer with precise criteria on how the skills and achievements of the label holder have been identified and what kind of competencies the label holder possesses.
