Aku Varamäki

Aku is a workday designer, the author of Future Proof, and one of the founders of the workday design agency Workday Designers. She considers herself an activist who promotes a human-centric and planetary approach to developing work life. The nature of work is undergoing significant changes, so we need futures that are inspiring and worth pursuing. By viewing work as a great design challenge, something we should actively design, we can find new ways of working that are suitable not only for us and future generations but also for the entire planet.

Laura Sivula

Laura works as a Business Area Director at both Aalto University and Aalto EE. She is responsible for the Lifewide learning business area portfolio, which includes inclusive, low-threshold programs and courses.

Sami Saarenketo

Sami Saarenketo is the Dean and a Professor at LUT Business School, which holds prestigious AACSB and EFMD accreditations. His extensive international experience includes visiting professorships at institutions such as Trondheim Business School and Mälardalen University, along with a visiting scholar role at Scancor, Stanford University. A recognized scholar in international marketing and entrepreneurship, Sami has published numerous articles in leading journals. Dedicated to developing the next generation of business leaders, he continues to drive the LUT Business School's success.

Suvi is our own Director of Career Services. She is known for her practical insights into starting a leadership career, building your leadership role, and tackling challenges in the frontline workplace. Training and continuous learning throughout one's career are also always close to Suvi's heart.

Isak Rautio

Isak Rautio is the host of the popular journalistic podcast Futucast, and one of the most experienced podcast interviewers in the country. He’s also been a moderator at many large events, including the Kultaranta Talks at the Presidential Palace in 2023. Now he's hosting the Business Beyond Today event and as a long-time stand-up comedian, we're sure he'll bring some great energy to the stage!
