Webinar
The Moomins are the central characters in a series of books and a comic strip by Swedish-Finn illustrator and writer Tove Jansson, originally published in Swedish in Finland. They are a family of trolls who are white and roundish, with large snouts. They are a beloved cultural icon in Finland and have been widely known in Sweden, Japan and the UK. The Moomin annual retail value is 700+ million EUR and growing.
In this webinar, Erica Terranova, Head of Growth at Moomin Characters, will introduce the business behind the Moomins. As the brand expands internationally, we will also hear about the growth strategies used to reach new fans and share the Moomin stories with the world. We will also have a Q&A portion at the end of the session.
Moomin Characters Ltd is a Finnish art and licensing business founded in the 1950s by Tove Jansson and her brother, Lars Jansson, and is still run by family members today.
