Puolen hehtaarin dog forest visit
16.10.2025 17:00
Something special for our members with dogs! Come meet fellow dog-owning economists and join us for a visit to the dog forest reserved by the Keski-Suomen ekonomit.
Our destination is the Puolen hehtaarin dog forest in Niittyaho, Muurame. This private forest is part of a farm property, yet peacefully tucked away at the edge of the woods and surrounded by fields. The fenced area covers 1.5 hectares, with a lovely, natural spruce forest in the middle—about half a hectare in size—that used to serve as pastureland for the farm’s cows.
On the forest’s edge, facing the evening sun, there’s a fenced campfire spot with a lean-to shelter and equipment for making a fire and enjoying snacks. Keski-Suomen ekonomit will provide sausages for all participants—including vegetarian options!
A maximum of 12 economists with their dogs can join. Please only bring dogs that are friendly and get along well with others. Each participant is responsible for their own dog and any potential damage caused.
Binding registrations by October 12th.
