Physical Event
This event is for English-speaking business graduates entering the Finnish job market. The workshop offers an insider's view of the Finnish recruitment process. You will learn how companies screen applications and what recruiters look for in a candidate. You will also get practical advice on how to succeed in job interviews in Finland. The goal is to provide you with the local knowledge and cultural understanding to compete effectively for your first job.
Join the English Business Network for a workshop designed to give you a competitive edge in the Finnish job market. This event is especially for recent business graduates from international backgrounds, but it is open to all members interested in the topic.
The session is divided into two parts:
- Part 1: The Recruiter's Point of View. Learn how Finnish companies screen applications. Discover how to catch a recruiter's attention, and understand how the Finnish process may differ from what you are used to.
- Part 2: Acing the Interview. Get practical tools and strategies to perform your best in a job interview. This part will focus on the specifics of interviewing within a Finnish context, helping you make a strong impression.
We are pleased to have Virpi Karhulahti, a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager at Outokumpu, as our speaker. With her extensive experience in recruitment, Virpi will share valuable insights into what hiring managers are really looking for and answer your questions.
