Physical event
Are you curious about how startups get funded in Finland? Have you ever wondered what it takes to build a thriving startup ecosystem?
Join us for an exclusive visit to the StartUp Foundation, where you’ll gain insights into how this organization supports the next generation of entrepreneurs.
The StartUp Foundation was founded in 2012 by fifty-seven Finnish technology influencers, entrepreneurs, and investors to foster a new generation of entrepreneurs. The foundation emerged from the ecosystem with the goal of giving back in a tangible way.
To fulfill this mission, the StartUp Foundation provides grants to individuals and projects that align with its vision of creating a richer, more diverse, and more successful startup ecosystem.
At the event, you’ll learn about the foundation’s operations and available grant opportunities. Pia-Maria Nickström, CEO of the StartUp Foundation, will share insights into the foundation’s activities and funding opportunities. Pia-Maria is also a serial entrepreneur and the founder of Mimmit Sijoittaa—a community and media platform with over 50,000 members, dedicated to empowering young women in investing and personal finance.
