Business is a very popular major, but there is also a lot of interesting stuff happening in business research! Business schools have invested in improving the quality of research, and the field is looking for answers to many interesting and major societal questions.

We welcome you to discover the diversity of business research through the work of these young researchers!

Viktor Salenius examines how innovation processes differ across countries and industries, and how energy-intensive companies, especially in the Nordic countries, are creating the solutions required for the green transition.

Dissertation Researcher, University of Jyväskylä

The forest industry has been the backbone of the Finnish economy throughout Finland's independence and forests are our country's most important natural resource. Roosa Oinasmaa examines how different interests, including government strategies on natural resources, have influenced the strategies of forest industry companies. The research material covers a period of 70 years.
